The award was received on behalf of MISKO by the President and Managing Director of Barilla Hellas, Mr. Giorgos Spiliopoulos, who noted that \u201csuch awards to food companies, especially to historical brands such as MISKO, are of particular symbolic importance, especially in such times, as they are the backbone of the economy, supporting the primary sector by offering jobs and producing top-priority products, i.e. food products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This award is a distinction of particular importance for MISKO, as it highlights the company\u2019s historical significance and Greek identity, which is inherent in the tradition of every Greek family and the history of the Greek diet as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>For more than 8\u00a0decades, MISKO has created, with care, taste and respect to Greek gastronomic tradition pasta that combines nutrition and taste. In the framework of the Symposium, an Exhibition of Awarded Brands was organized from 29\u00a0June to 1\u00a0July, where MISKO participated with an impressive stand that attracted thousands of visitors. At the stand, dressed in MISKO\u2019s characteristic fuchsia color and featuring historical brand advertisements from the first years of its history until the present day, visitors had the opportunity to watch MISKO\u2019s old TV commercials, learn about the brand and taste pasta samples. Smiling promoters welcomed visitors at the stand, while the cook and the waiters at MISKO\u2019s impressive kitchen prepared and served individual portions of pasta and MISKO sauces.<\/p>\n<p>MISKO pasta is produced exclusively in Greece, from high-quality wheat grown by Greek producers through Good Agricultural Practices.
